Cake became mousse

We teachers agreed to make some food and share. Can you see the box with a spoon on? I am responsible for yellow split pea cake. There's not enough corn starch for the cake, so it became mousse rather than cake. As my colleague commented that the taste was superb but it looked like baby food. My heart was broken.
I will do a better job next time. If there's next time for me to cook.
